We are residents of the Coachella Valley who have organized to assist our community and
healthcare providers in the fight against the Coronavirus Pandemic. With the help of dedicated
volunteers and partners, we were able to reach our goal of producing almost 20,000 protective
gowns for medical personnel at Eisenhower Medical Center. As the needs of our community
evolve, we are dedicated to addressing them. One of the most pressing needs is the lack of
masks that fit children correctly. We have pledged to produce 10,000 child sized masks in an
effort to keep our community safe and well.

Protective Face Masks
Properly fitting face masks may reduce the chance of spreading airborne disease. Many wear them during flu season to avoid infection or infecting others. Adult
masks are too large for many children and do not adequately protect them.
Medical Gowns are used to protect the wearer from the spread of infection or illness if the wearer comes in contact with potentially infectious liquid and solid material.
How can you help?
We have organized residents of the Coachella Valley to volunteer and help
fabricate face masks and medical gowns. Our efforts are now concentrated on producing child size protective face masks. We have pledged to produce 10,000 child size masks so volunteers are needed. Mask kits are now available at our Distribution Center in the 500 Building.
